You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’llbe encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

The purpose of this role is to assist with the monthly Management Accounts process and other ad-hoc financial reporting. You’ll assist in the running and timely distribution of financial reports for the business as well as run monthly Costs analysis reports& GL drill down reports for strategic business units. As well as being responsible for the monthlypayroll journal processing and reconciliations, you’ll also be a key point of contact for the business.

You’ll be someone with:

- An ACA/ACCA qualification, finalist or qualified by experience
- Proven experience in a similar accounts function
- Analytical and numerical ability - able to analyse and interpret data
- Excellent planning and organising skills - able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Able to prioritise own workload to meet business needs
- Experience with explaining financial information to people with less accounting knowledge.
- Attention to detail when producing data, reports, or other analysis
