Due to the growth of our client, a prestigious FCA regulated financial organisation based in the heart of Mayfair, they are now recruiting for a Transfers & Payments Supervisor to join their team. This is a supervisory level position offering a lot of progression.

**We will consider CANDIDATES with the following**:

- Payments Infrastructure CHAPS/BACS: knowledge of UK payment rails.
- Payments Infrastructure SEPA: having hands on experience in issuing EU IBANs and deep knowledge of SEPA rails, including Instant SEPA.
- Payments Technology: incl. strategy and migration approaches.
- Financial crime: incl. AML, fraud management prevention, detection and mitigation strategy and implementation approaches.

**The Role**:

- Closely collaborate with the other functions and departments of the Company including Senior Management, IT, Compliance, customer service and communication.
- Handle and ensure handling of payment investigations in collaboration with other relevant department/functions if applicable.
- Supervise payment processing operations within department.
- Plan, organize and manage payment related activities within the Company.
- Ensure due and timely provisions of payment and related service.
- Ensure efficient transmission execution of payment orders and transactions.
- When supervising and performing payment transactions, ensure observance of requirement of partner banks and other applicable requirements and standards.
- Ensure all necessary actions for processing of withdrawal requests from clients in relation to monetary funds.
- Cooperation and communication with the Banking Institutions that the Company will maintain Client’s Bank Account.
- Ensure that any transfer of funds has been settled.
- Provide reports to Senior Management and Board of Directors, as well as to the FCA, as the case may be.
- Identify payment related risks and suggest solutions for risks elimination or minimization.
- Provide opinions and analyses within the competence; present solutions.
- Review and provide opinions and suggestions on agreements and contracts within the competence.
- Participate in developing and updating internal regulations, procedures and practices.
- Monitor the communication between the Transfers and Payments Department and IT Department
- Ensure monitoring of the Company’s activities and operations in respect to the compliance with the internal regulations, as well as external regulations and requirements applicable to the Department.
- Follow up and review legislation and requirements, including changes, applicable to the activities and operations of the Company and within the competence of the Department.
- You’ll have payment account remittance & international payment systems focused experience including, but not limited to eWallets, SEPA, Instant Payments, SWIFT or alternative payment methods.
- You’ll have experience in creating, managing payments, cross-border transactions, optimising currency exchange and banking.
- Efficient and accurate input of payments (Faster Payments, CHAPS, SWIFT, SEPA).
- Experience in a Back Office Role.
- Experience of working across the payment’s lifecycle in either a bank, technology or consulting organisation.
- Perspective and insight on the future of the payments landscape and what this means for the ecosystem e.g., banks, fintech’s, card schemes and companies
- Experience of designing and delivering transformation within financial services.
- 5+ years’ experience in Payments & Fraud operations in digital business or e-commerce;
- 2+ years of experience in payments operations, working with various vendors and performance analysis
