**Overview**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our team who will be responsible for the finance/administration functions of our very popular Before & After School Club and Pre-school. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, hard-working admin team who support the school leadership in the efficient day-to-day running of the school. Working with staff, parents, visitors and pupils, no two days are ever the same

This is a permanent role, working 22 hours per week, four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) term time only from 9am to 3pm.

Whether they have been with us for 7 years or 7 months, it is important to us that the children can verbalise their thinking, share their ideas, confidently ask for help if they need it and also present to other people. Some of our pupils take this even further and develop a passion for performing, singing and public speaking. Whilst not everyone will wish to perform, we hope that every child leaves our school with confidence, enthusiasm and the ability to speak out.

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for delivering efficient, accurate financial and administrative support for our Before & After School Club and Pre-school. Using your numerical and IT skills to ensure all aspects of the role run smoothly. This is a busy and varied role, requiring you to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines as required.

**About you**:
You should be self motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive, friendly approach. You will have a good level of financial experience (schools experience is desirable, but not essential). You will have:

- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills both face to face and on the telephone.
- Methodical organisation skills.
- Good IT skills using Microsoft Office and Excel and other school software systems.
- Excellent understanding of financial procedures, reconciliation and credit control/debt management.
