**Title**:Operative - Cleaning Service

**Reports to**:Cyclical Services Manager - Cyclical Works

**Based at**:Flagship Services Geographic

**Hours of work**:40 hours per week

**Key Objectives of Role**

To carry out and assist with all Flagship Services Cleaning Service related tasks as an Operative, working as (but not restricted to) part of a customer focussed team. Flagship Services is a forward thinking organisation, ensuring that Flagship properties are maintained to a high standard.

**Main Responsibilities**

1. Responsible for delivering an effective cleaning service, ensuring flows of work are followed correctly.

2. To ensure that the work is undertaken in a timely manner, whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

3. Ensure all cleaning service work is carried out efficiently to ensure the right level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

4. From time to time, if requested, to act as a mentor to trainees/apprentices, to encourage and support their development.

5. Positively support the learning and delivery of “Flagship Way” by promoting an open, honest and transparent culture which considers the customer at the heart of every decision being made.

6. Take responsibility for all transport, equipment or mobile phone devices issued by Flagship Services (where applicable) and ensure they are kept in excellent condition and secure at all times.

7. Effectively follow Health & Safety and Welfare Policies and Procedures, to ensure safe working and driving conditions at all times.

8. Understand and effectively follow all Flagship Policies & Procedures in line with your job role.

9. Undertake any other duties as required from the business on an ad hoc basis. Full training and supervision will be provided if these duties require a greater level of skill or responsibility than those required in this post.

10. Take personal responsibility for own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace.

12. Understand and use measures to enable continuous improvement.

- Experience within the cleaning industry D
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning machinery, i.e. floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, vacuums etc. E

- Good understanding of literacy as relevant to the role (e.g. ability to understand safety instructions) E
