**SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary - Southport - £450 - £500 per week**

Shape A Life is supporting a fantastic secondary in Southport that need SEN TA's for the remainder of his academic year and for the next academic year.

You will join a team of specialist staff supporting learners with SEMH and neurological disorders.

This role is perfect for anyone interested in SEN.

**You will need**:

- To be motivated to make a positive difference to the students.

- An interest in SEN.
- Good communication skills and set high expectations.
- Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work as part of a team.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff
- Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
- Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour.
- Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
- Assisting in the planning and learning activities
- Promote and reinforce the inclusion, acceptance and integration of all pupils.
