**A little bit about the role...**

Due to growth within British Offsite, we have a brand new opportunity for an Architectural Team Leader to join our Technical Department, based out of our state of the art factory in Braintree.

It’s an exciting time to join us, with external projects kicking off later this year, you will be involved in Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Defence and Education projects and you will be a part of the journey from the outset.

You will be responsible for driving and managing a small number of technicians to ensure the delivery of effective drawings and approvals in line with the project schedule.

**You will be responsible for...**
- Lead and manage the Technical/ Design team to ensure the timely and accurate production of quality manufacturing drawings.
- Take lead on all new projects and full set up; including but not limited to:

- Filing System
- Product Specification sheets
- Project RFIs
- Collaborate and manage structural engineering and SFS drafting models.
- Collaborate and manage all window designs and specification coordination
- Manage daily work scheduling and monitoring, including the design tracker
- To keep track of daily flash reports
- Identify and provide solutions for new component coordination
- Lead and chair effective team meetings including but not limited to:

- Project Review Meetings;
- Design Team Meetings;
- Technical Quality Meetings;
- Any other departmental meetings as required.
- Create, implement and develop technical working practices and procedures; implementing detailed knowledge and extensive experience of 3D construction CAD packages
- Delivering design elements of project execution plans on time, with management and reporting on progress
- Work with Manufacturing Department to cascade design information into workflows and work instructions for factory floor
- Effective management and development of all direct report employees aligned with organisational strategy, culture, values and HR practices
- Continuous improvement and innovation with best practice and legislation change solutions and initiatives
- Any other duties commensurate with this post.

**What we'd like in return...**
- Minimum of 3 years managing a small team
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, Revit or Vertex
