**We seek to appoint an inspirational SENCo at Woodbury School in Wolverhampton**

Woodbury School is a positive, friendly co
- educational day school in Wolverhampton, supporting young people at primary, secondary and post-16 level. The school meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils with a range of complex learning needs including Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).

You will be responsible for supporting young people in the school that need extra assistance - enabling them to make good progress in their learning. We are seeking someone with the vision and drive to develop the provision and improve outcomes for pupils.

**The successful applicant will need**:

- Must hold a SENDCO Qualification or be close to completing
- Have valid QTS
- Have a robust understanding of SEND Code of practice
- Have some experience of working effectively with local authorities.
- Have a passion for ensuring all young people succeed.
- Be able to work effectively within a supportive, committed, and successful staff team.
- Have high aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development.
- An understanding of SEMH education and how support the additional needs associated with SEMH pupils.
