Assistant Therapy Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and reliable Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join the Therapy Team in the South of Powys. The post will support the community services and offers an existing band 3 or someone with experience of working in the health or social care field the opportunity to develop their career. The post will be based in theCommunity Therapy Team in Ystradgynlais Community Hospitalbut there may be an expectation to cover South Powys.

Responsibilities include clinical management of patients and relevant documentation; managing an allocated community caseload independently, completing therapy assessments and interventions, and clear communication with service users and their families.
Contribute to the continued development and maintenance of efficiency and safety in the Therapy Department.
Be flexible at times of increased capacity to the service.
The team provide a 7-day service and staff are expected to be part of the weekend roster.
