Since Abel was established in Leicester in 1965, we’ve earned our place at the heart of the fire and security industry. We are a third generation pioneering and multi-award winning family business with our head office in Leicester providing a nationwide service throughout our multiple branches.

**The Role**

We are happy to consider both full time or part time applicants and can be flexible with working hours where required. The role will be based at our head office in Leicester with occasional travel required to branches/sites to obtain media content, therefore a full UK driving licence is preferred.

**Main duties**
- Responsible for all Social Media platform posts and communications
- Create advanced static, motion & video-based engaging content
- Design posts using photo/video editing software
- Scheduling the timing of content to maximise views
- Running targeted adverts relative to the company’s target audience
- Increasing followers, connections and the company’s online presence
- Visiting sites and branches, networking events and trade shows to gather content
- Engaging connections with new and existing clients on social media platforms
- Developing and maintain effective relationships with company stakeholders
- Researching and Analysing competitor’s branding/content online
- Take part in group brainstorming activities
- Take ownership of the marketing comms including internal / external
- Research new online marketing techniques and technologies and feed them back to the team

**Person Specification**
- Have knowledge of Social Media strategy and maximising opportunities.
- Have experience in engaging content creation and videography
- Proficient with photo/video editing software
- Ability to manage and effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- You will need to have bags of initiative
- You should have a holistic approach to marketing, with passion for the products, services, ethos and an understanding of what we can offer
- Thorough and ever-growing knowledge of our products/services so you can speak with confidence and contagious enthusiasm
- Full UK driving licence is essential as travel is required to sites nationwide
