**Community Centre Coordinator**

You will provide effective coordination of the Pat Midgley Community Hub and be responsible for the day to day management of the centre and coordinate activities, bookings and services run from the centre and associated outreach services within the community including the Wybourn orchard and allotments. You will oversee the financial running of associated projects and maximise income and funding opportunities and develop first class relationships with members of the community, stakeholders and develop the network of service delivery partners to ensure the centre facilities are maximised to the benefit of the Wybourn Community. You will work closely with the neighbourhood management team to deliver neighbourhood management services which contribute towards the objective of maintaining sustainable communities where people want to live and work.
**What you'll be doing**
- You will contribute to the development of a culture which is customer focussed and committed to providing the highest standard of services in Wybourn.
- You will oversee the day-to-day running of the Pat Midgley Community Hub as well as responsibility for the coordination or delivery for all aspects of day to day volunteer management, training and development of additional added value services for which you are responsible.
- You will develop effective liaison, consultation and participation within the local community, in partnership with the Community Partnerships Manager.
- To ensure effective performance monitoring within an action planning framework, ensuring the Centre meets its internal and external targets.
- To service and account to the board of management and trustees for operations of the Centre and its outreach activities.
- Establish budgets and control expenditure. To be responsible for preparation and regular monitoring of budgets to ensure that accounts are maintained within forecast limits.
- You will identify appropriate funding streams for the WCC and prepare bids, coordinate all internal decision making processes, including preparing reports for the WCC Board alongside the Great Places Funding Partnerships Lead, ensuring that all relevant information, subsequent monitoring, evidence and returns are in place for a clear audit trail.
- Develop a partnership approach with other organisations and residents to maximise income at the WCC.
- Implement and manage streamlined processes to empower volunteers to maximise opportunities to work within communities and maintain effective working practices
- To work and engage with local communities and partner agencies in order to develop the capacity of the communities to enable them to play an active part in neighbourhood management, influencing decisions and local service provision.
- Maintain effective working relationships the neighbourhood team, other Great Places departments to provide effective compliance with building and facilities management.
- To co-ordinate the work of the Centre in establishing and maintaining effective liaison and partnership working arrangements in Wybourn and to seek to develop new partnerships, business opportunities and joint ways of working for the benefit of our customers and neighbourhood sustainability.
- To have day to day responsibility for the delivery of community based services within your remit, providing excellent services which contribute towards encouraging sustainable and thriving communities.
- To work with the communications team and partners to maximise opportunities for good news stories about the initiatives for which you have responsibility.

**What you'll need**

- Ability to work to deadlines, complete tasks, compile reports and effectively manage own workload in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
