**Machinist**

Charles Thompson Limited is hiring a Machinist to join our growing production team. We are a specialist designer and manufacturer of process plant equipment to industry sectors including oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical, utilities and nuclear.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Work to and interpretation of manufacturing drawings to deliver consistent, high quality machining across a variety of different components and materials.
- Operate a variety of machines including horizontal borer, vertical borer, lathes, drills and mobile machining equipment.
- Willingness to learn and develop machining skills.
- Willingness to work overtime hours and occasional late or night shifts.

**Required Skills And Qualifications**
- Previous experience with borers would be a distinct advantage.
- Prior experience with manual turning, milling, or boring.
- Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.

**Salary**: £15.15 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mexborough, S64 5TD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machinist: 1 year (preferred)

- United Kingdom (required)
