Due to the expansion of the business, my client is looking for a proactive, friendly and well organised Finance Assistant ideally on a full-time basis, working from the office based between Downham Market and Swaffham.

Working closely with the Partners, Practice Manager and Team Leaders, you will support the business by providing a high-quality, efficient service to both internal team members and external clients.

Each day is varied, requiring excellent problem-solving skills. You must be able to prioritise effectively, have high levels of numeracy and literacy and be able to effectively use Microsoft Office programs with a consistently high level of accuracy.

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:

- purchase and sales ledger invoicing
- Debt Control
- Purchase Control
- Client Interaction
- VAT returns
- Ad hoc internal tax work

**Person Specification**:

- Previous experience of working in an Accounting or Finance role.
- AAT at any level or qualified by experience.
- Experience and understanding of the Microsoft suite of products
- Excellent organisation skills
- Be good listener and verbal communicator
- Be adaptive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to learn quickly, and a desire to keep learning and developing professionally
- Be at ease interacting with clients in a professional and competent manner
- Work well as part of a team, but is also able to focus independently

This role is based in a rural area. You will need to have a reliable mode of transport as there is no public transport available.

**This role can be full-time 8.45 - 5 or part-time 9-3.
