The Forensic and Investigation Services (FIS) team at Grant Thornton is a multi-disciplinary team split across a number of core areas including disputes and investigations, contentious valuations, competition, cyber, digital forensic and financial crime.

You will get the opportunity to utilise your accountancy skills to investigate financial discrepancies and inaccuracies such as fraudulent activity, financial misrepresentation or misconduct and disputes. The role involves an integration of accounting, litigationsupport and investigative skills.

**A look into the role**

As a Forensic Assistant Manager within our FIS team, you will be exposed to a mix of work and given the opportunity to:

- Quantify loss of profit and business valuation in a wide range of disputes
- Investigate fraud and irregularities
- Develop analysis and reporting writing skills
- Contribute to proposals, business development and marketing activities

**Knowing you’re right for us**

Joining us as a Forensic Assistant Manager, the **minimum criteria **you’ll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA). It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’llhelp you develop along the way.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to challenge data and information provided
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to work across a range of industries and sectors.
