**Role Description**:
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated HR Advisor to join our team in a full time and on-site based role. The HR Advisor will support the Head of HR in delivering a comprehensive HR service to the company, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Being a ‘team player’ is an absolute must, and this will include some flexibility in working hours to support a 24/7 operation, which will included support on-site at our other site in Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 5SL 2 to 3 days each month.

**Key Responsibilities**:
HR Administration:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management.
- Ensure legal compliance with employee right to work checks and data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality.

Administration of Monthly Payroll:

- Manage the monthly payroll process for both salaried and hourly paid employees.
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries, wages, and deductions.
- Liaise with the finance department and external payroll providers to resolve any payroll-related issues.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
- Support and conduct induction sessions and ensure new employees are aware of company policies and procedures.

Employee Relations:

- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and issues.
- Provide advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Coordinate disciplinary and grievance procedures, including notetaking in formal meetings, and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

Performance Management:

- Support the performance review process, including the coordination of new start probationary reviews and performance appraisals.
- Support and assist line managers in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Provide advice and support to managers on performance management issues.

Policy Development:

- Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures, to ensure that HR policies are up-to-date and in line with current legislation.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Education: CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR advisory role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
