**Job Title**:Learning Support Assistant - Year 2
- Are you passionate about helping children succeed in their education? _Do you have experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you

The Supply Room is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Slough, Berkshire. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in Year 2 with their learning and development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them to achieve their academic goals
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individual learning plans for students with SEN
- Collaborate with the SEN coordinator and other school staff to ensure the needs of students with SEN are met
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths
- Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs is essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
