Marcegaglia Stainless Sheffield has three sites across Sheffield, and they include our own Melting Shop called SMACC (Stainless Melting and Continuous Casting), that produces semi-finished products such as slabs, billets, blooms and ingots; ASR (Alloy Steel Rods), our rolling mill that produces wire rod, bar and rebar and SSB (Sheffield Stainless Bar), our bar finishing unit.

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Process Leader to join our Finishing department at SMACC located on our Europa Link site.

**The main responsibilities include**:

- Accountability for key process KPIs in line with business requirements.
- Problem solving and cooperation with other departments to investigate and report process deviations using route cause analysis techniques.
- Support/assist in all nonstandard investigations and the implementation of actions.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and actions in line with business requirements.
- Compliance management, including Product, Process, A.M., and P.M. Confirmations, 5S Audits, Safety walks, Document Control, SWP’s, SOP’s, RAs, and Production Reports.
- Assist STM with Planning and manning to ensure the correct levels are always maintained to meet business requirements.
- Team development and training to include maintenance of training records, and continuous assessment of skills to provide maximum flexibility within the team.
- Conducting 1-2-1’s and performance reviews with the area team
- Stand-In / assist with operational roles and tasks as required to ensure efficient production.
- Step up to provide cover for the Shift Team Manager when required.
- A drive to work flexibly in a demanding and challenging environment.
- A proven record in Manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
- A proven ability to lead, coach, motivate and manage employees.
- Proven ability in practical problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- General knowledge of Health and Safety at work to improve and contribute to H &S and environmental management systems.
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts.

As part of this role you will be required to work shifts, as a shift worker you will be paid a shift allowance on top of your hourly rate.

**Salary**: Up to £18.36 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
