**Maintenance Joiner - £28,000 - Well known healthcare organisation - Static role - Keighley**

Our client is a large healthcare industry and is looking for a **Maintenance Joiner **to carry out the safe maintenance of building systems within a large site in the Airedale region. This is a great opportunity to work with a well known, large healthcare organisation that offers great opportunities, benefits and progression. This role is ideal for someone that has previously been a **Carpenter or Joiner **and is seeking a site based role.

**What would a Maintenance Joiner be doing?**
- Carry out maintenance, installation and repair work to fixtures and fittings such as doors/windows, wall protection systems, roof timbers, kitchens and worktops.
- Undertaking other building maintenance E.g painting, wood treatment, locksmith, glazing repairs and fire safety checks on doors and barriers.
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Proving support to contractors, other trades and trainees when required.

**To be successful in this role as Maintenance Joiner you should -**
- Hold relevant qualifications within building construction/carpentry e.g C&G Advanced Craft Certificate, Woodwork Machinery
- Have a minimum 5 years experience working within a **Carpentry **or **Joinery **background within a facilities environment (Essential)
- Have strong knowledge of **Health & Safety** procedures.
- Hold previous experience working within a large commercial building, ideally within healthcare environment (preferred)
