Operating for over 75 years from within West Yorkshire, Victor Manufacturing Ltd are a long established, family owned and operated, manufacturer of catering equipment & servery counters, supplying a number of prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.

**The Role**

Victor Manufacturing are seeking an experienced, proactive, flexible and reliable individual to join our joinery and contracts specials team in the role of **Bench Joiner - Working Supervisor.**

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Supervising and working alongside the joinery department, to ensure work is carried out on time, safely, cost effective and to the highest of standards.
- Carrying out installations of bespoke counter systems and special products across the UK when required.
- Supervising effectively and proactively the staff in your department to ensure the prioritisation of workloads, maintenance of quality standards, safe systems of working and identifying any training needs.
- Attending the 7:30am manufacturing meetings, fully prepared and contributing where required, to ensure deadlines are met.
- Liaising with the estimating and purchasing departments for material requisitions.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety protocols and procedures are adhered to at all times including safe systems of work, correct use of PPE, maintenance of equipment and the reporting of accidents and near misses.
- Seeking continuous individual and departmental improvements

Joinery experience **- Essential**
Supervisory experience **- Desirable**
Full UK driving licence - **Essential**
CSCS card (in date) - **Desirable**

**Hours of work**

7:30am - 16:00pm (Mon to Thurs)
7:30am - 15:00pm (Friday)

(39 standard hours per week).

**Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is essential. Early mornings, late finishes, weekend work and overnight stays may be required on occasions - overtime paid at increased rates of pay)**

Pay: Up to £16.30 per hour
