School Caretaker - Secondary School

School Caretaker - Temporary to Permanent

Complete Classroom Services are working with a Primary School in Barking who are looking for a Caretaker to join the team on a long term, temporary to permanent basis.

This position would suit an independent, experienced individual with a strong background working within a School environment or someone seeking there first school based role with strong maintenance and handyman work.

As a School your responsibilities will include but aren’t limited too:
Health and Safety within a School environment
Knowledge of grounds maintenance
Using garden equipment and machinery
Knowledge regarding fire alarms, drills and weekly testing
Key holder - opening and closing of the School
Basic maintenance knowledge

To be considered for this role, you will need a current DBS and the School are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Lewisham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- caretaking: 1 year (preferred)
- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
