Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, full time/part time (40 hours per week) post based in St John’s Hospital.

This is a full-time posts created through retirement. It is available immediately and will be based at St Johns Hospital, (please note that the individual may be required to work across NHS Lothian). Opportunities may exist to develop sub speciality interest, including Intensive Care.

The Consultant will be responsible for the continued care of patients in their charge, and

for the proper functioning of the department. The post will have 10.0 Programmed Activities

(PA). 8 PA of DCC (Direct Clinical Care) and 2 SPA (Supporting Professional Activity), it may be possible to re-organise PA in order to accommodate specialist interests. 1 EPA may be available.
