The anaesthesia team at VSS is expanding its team.

Veterinary Specialists Scotland is located close to Edinburgh, but also has easy access to Glasgow, countryside, mountains and magnificent coastline. Edinburgh is a beautiful and vibrant city, famous for its festival and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whether you are a fan of city life or like getting out to the hills, then VSS may be the place for you.

The premises have been specifically architect designed with lots of natural light and currently comprise:

- Six light and airy consulting rooms, including a dedicated feline consulting room
- Five wards - canine medical, canine surgical, feline, Intensive Care Unit and Isolation
- Endoscopy suite
- Extensive in-house lab facilities
- Ultrasound room
- CT scanner, digital radiography, fluoroscopy and on-site MRI
- Two theatre suites
- Two anaesthesia dedicated induction rooms with wall mounted anaesthetic machines
- Aestiva anaesthetic machines in both theatres, CT and endoscopy. Datex S5 and Mindray Multiparameter monitoring.
- Nerve stimulator and portable ultrasound machine for ultrasound guided nerve blocks.

And that is just the ground floor We have another two floors to expand into..

**The Team**

We are a vibrant, friendly and collaborative team, who all work together to provide outstanding patient and client care. We currently take referrals in feline and canine medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics and neurology, cardiology, dermatology and ECC supported by a team of Specialist Anaesthetists and Diagnostic Imagers. Our team of interns ensure hospitalised patients receive care out-of-hours, although we are always available to support them.
