**Publishing Production Assistant - Arabic**

**Salary**: £24,300 - £30,600

Location: Cambridge

**Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract**

We are looking for a Publishing Production Assistant who will provide essential technical support to the Senior Publishing Production Manager and project team to successfully complete deliverables, to ensure that the customer, partners, and suppliers have an excellent experience throughout the project lifecycle.

**About the role**

As a Publishing Production Assistant, you will support the content development and delivery of publishing projects in the Middle East. You will support management of artwork requirements, including image research, reviewing standards and cultural sensitivities, support photo-shoots and audio/visual recordings.

You will proof-read all content and formatting, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products through conduction quality assurance reviews of Arabic proofs.

You will support and coach suppliers and resources to understand and deliver in line with project standards and best practice and support the completion of projects in a timely manner.

Working on exciting new projects within the team, your role will be key to ensuring effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

**About you**

It is essential that you are fluent in Arabic, as you will be working on projects in the Middle East, and you will need to be able to type in Modern Standard Arabic, with intercultural awareness and a background in education, teaching, or publishing.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritise and manage your time effectively, whilst being comfortable with multi-tasking and working under pressure.

You will be confident in delivering to challenging deadlines and exacting requirements, along with strong administrative and organisational skills.
