Our support team, based at the Group Support Office near Heathrow, works to ensure that our people on the ground have everything they need to succeed.
Our operational and administrative staff oversee the smooth running of every one of our unique hospitality venues, and they do that both out in the field or in the office.

The Foundation Group is a family owned and operated company that was founded in 1973 by Peter Salussolia and is the parent company for Glendola Leisure Group and the Carlton Hotel Collection. In the UK, Glendola Leisure, which is headed up by Alex Salussolia, operates businesses in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast which are an eclectic mix from the Worlds End, Camden to high end steak restaurants such as Alston, our own coffee roastery and brew pub and the well know Waxy O'Connor's, a rambling multi-level Irish Bar. Whilst the Carlton Hotel Collection in the UK operate in Glasgow with the Carlton George Hotel and Market Street in Edinburgh.
**Job Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll and / or Accounts Assistant who will act as in a support function to the Payroll Manager and the Purchase Ledger Manager. This diverse role will suit someone looking to diversify their experience in a varied role; full support and training will be in place.
You will have the ability to work with numbers in excel, to manually calculate and check Payroll software computations and to respond to queries about payroll calculations. You will also have the ability to build professional relationships with your peers and the wider community to support the payroll process and advise users software usage. Above all you will have the ability to manage sensitive data, checking authority before releasing sensitive information and having the ability to deal with information discreetly and confidentially.
You will possess a friendly, positive attitude to ensure that you are able to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with all internal stakeholders and present a can-do attitude.
**Person Specification**:
- You will possess a positive, friendly attitude with the ability to build strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- You will have a confident approach and be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal disciplines, using your initiative where necessary.
- You will be organised and methodical to allow you to manage a range of tasks.
- You will have strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- You will be confident and fluent in all Microsoft Office Packages.
- If you have experience with Fourth, Docuware or Acquire it would be an advantage, although not essential.
- You will be able to work with sensitive and confidential information in a mature and respectful manner.
- You will need have a can-do, pro-active, and positive attitude to become a solid member of our inter-dependent accounts team.
- Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience
Location: Group Support Offices, Harlington, UB3 5LF
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
