**The role**
In this role you will have full responsibility & accountability for one of the teams in Innovation - a team of circa 30 people. This team is focussed on innovation research including consumer goods, financial services and technology clients. You’ll be directly managing some of the Director and Associate Director level individuals, but be responsible for the success of the overall team. Priorities are driving engagement, morale, and embedding a culture that drives the team to success.

You also have a personal portfolio of clients that you are responsible for managing, delivering for, and developing business. You will be a leader and truly embody the Director Behaviours.


**What will I be doing?**
This will be a varied and interesting role including:
- We are looking for an experienced Research Director; with a proven background in Innovation research including early stage screening, concept testing, product testing, volumetric forecasting, pack testing, and more. Experience of online communities a bonus
- You’ll also bring experience of international / multi-country programmes / projects;
- You’ll not only be an expert in innovation, but also be able to talk knowledgably in other related arenas, ensuring that all opportunities are capitalised on advising clients and team members alike;
- You’ll have an appetite to learn more;
- You’ll have a positive demeanor and be easy to engage with, and make time for others;
- And you’ll be trustworthy, open & honest;
- You’ll have a proven record of creating & growing client relationships;
- You’ll drive commercial success;
- You’ll be passionate about and have proven experience leading & inspiring people, and driving a team to success;
- You’ll consistently deliver with impact and maintain the highest professional standards

**What do I need to bring with me?**
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:
