**The Opportunity**
Our client is a firm of independent financial advisers and investment managers, providing advice to individual and to corporate clients. Established in 1980, the firm manages private client investments of c£0.5 billion.
The company is highly successful and is genuinely a lovely place to work, evidenced by many long serving members of staff who enjoy a collaborative, professional and welcoming working environment.
They now have an opportunity to appoint a talented IFA Administration professional to join their hardworking and committed team in their costal West Sussex offices.
**The Role**
As an experienced IFA or Wealth Management Administrator, duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Understanding and accurately interpreting the instructions from the Client Administrators/Advisers
- Preparing client meeting packs
- Prepare client valuations
- Liaising with investment houses on new and existing cases
- Ensure that relevant documentation is always completed and correctly filed
- Follow-up on all transactions to ensure instructions are executed as requested, and in a timely manner
- Thorough checking and issuance of contract notes
- Printing and binding client valuations and reports
- Compiling client information required for tax returns
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
**About you**
As an experienced IFA/Financial services Administrator you will possess the following:
- A minimum of 1 / 2 years relevant IFA/Financial Services Administration experience
- Knowledge of Adviser Office (Advantageous)
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail on all work performed
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Problem-solving approach
- Personality that thrives in a pressurised environment
- Initiative and judgement: making decisions where appropriate
- Confident, willing and approachable manner
- Team player: reliable and supportive of colleagues
- Motivated and driven to contribute and exceed in the role
- Professional approach, polished presentation and excellent telephone manner
- Good numerical skills
