Senior Care Team Leader

At The Hennessy Partnership, we support people with complex needs.
As a Team leader, you will play a key role in the day to day management of our services. You will provide support and supervision to the team of support staff, be key to managing the rota and ensuring staff are fully trained, and provide on the job coaching, feedback, and act as a role model. You will also take part in an on-call rota to ensure that our staff have access to support when it is needed.
You will need to be experienced in supporting adults with various care and support needs and have the skills and interests in direct line management of staff and developing others. You will be able to mentor your staff, as well as having the drive to work alongside your team to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support. Being a driver is essential and you will need to be able to work flexibly.
As part of the management team, you need to have excellent communication including verbal, written and IT skills and be organised and plan your time effectively.
All our employees complete a comprehensive in-service induction programme that includes shadow shifts before working with the people we support. You will be enrolled to our excellent e-learning programmes and, face to face training and development sessions to enhance and refresh your skills and knowledge. In addition to your excellent salary, we also ensure all our staff are well looked after and valued at every opportunity
You’ll receive one to one supervision with the Service Manager and, your induction and probation will be done in conjunction with the Service Manager who will support you in your role.
