Our client is one of the UK’s leaders in providing innovative construction and engineering solutions for clients within a variety of sectors including Retail, Health, Education and Commercial. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experiencedHard Services/Facilities Manager to join this well-established business with an impressive portfolio of clients.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for the management delivery of all reactive and planned works.
- Assist the management of Lead Engineer, DMTs and DMAs to ensure contract KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved.
- Liaise with the customer and other key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Monitor and report on the operational performance of the contract, including delivery of planned and reactive works on the specific site
- Liaise and manage both internal sub-contractors and client direct supply chain (Managed contracts)
- Liaise with supply chain to obtain quotations for reactive / planned tasks and manage while working on site.
- Responsibility for completion and sign-off for all RAMS and relevant H&S documentation.
- Chair meetings including internal and customer.
- Production of site progress reports for senior management
- Costing and planning small works, asset / capex?
- Ensuring the planning, development, and implementation of strategy for staff training in conjunction with site and job specific requirements.
- Comply with any reasonable request or instruction from the customer/RFM
- Responsibility for the management and delivery of PPM schedule within agreed timescales.
- The management, development, and motivation of their team of direct reports including the assessment and monitoring of job performance and where necessary, facilitating the company disciplinary and/or grievance procedure in conjunction with the Human Resourcesdepartment.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- City & Guilds/NVQ Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition
- CITB SMSTS (or equivalent)
- Proven track record within engineering/building maintenance
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client
- Ability to engage confidently and tactfully with senior management whilst demonstrating strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Minimum 3 years’ previous experience of operating within a large-scale distribution site
- Experience of managing safety, quality, and environmental issues relevant within a distribution environment.
- Previous experience of managing/prioritising a varied/demanding workload
- Ability to problem solve on minor, planned and small works projects with a good working knowledge of multi-trade delivery (i.e., Joinery/Building/Electrical
- Knowledge of CAFM software and experience of Verisae.
