We are recruiting for a warehouse operative to work as an integral part of the warehouse team processing LHR and Gateway shipments. This is a great opportunity to join a highly experienced team and develop your skills in a secure and regulated environment.

Location: Heathrow

Shifts: 4 on /4 off 06:00am - 18:00pm

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Receiving and booking of inbound export and import freight (using GXD system)
- Loading & unloading of vehicles using forklift trucks
- Use of handheld scanners, sort and split freight as per customer SOPs
- Screening of cargo in adherence with CAA guidelines (X-ray, Hand search, Visual check, ETD)
- Frequent manual handling tasks
- Liaison with transport team

About You
- Experience in a fast-moving distribution environment
- valid counterbalance forklift truck licence
- Possess good communication and IT skills and an ability to work well within a team.
- Good understanding written and spoken English & basic mathematic skills
- Basic geographical knowledge is desirable
- Use of an In House WMS system - RF Scanning / Unit Picking experience and advantage
