**Fleet Manager**

Hybrid, Flexible or Remote (UK based)

**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join our close-knit team. As Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for the 'day to day' running of the mixed LGV and Electric Van Fleet, while motivating your team to required expectations of our customersand management. **The Responsibilities**:

- Preparing, maintaining and managing all fleet management records.
- Arranging servicing, repairs, RFL, congestion charging, payment of parking fines etc.
- Onboarding of all new fleet and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Taking accountability for ensuring the fleet meets business needs on a daily and weekly basis.
- Communicating with drivers on operational requirements or changes.
- Being responsible for monitoring and tracking of all vehicle activities.
- Arranging and planning vehicle cleaning, vehicles accident damaged repairs.
- LGV Fleet planning for servicing and arranging sub-vehicles; and van fleet planning for servicing, MOT's, and platform lifts.
- Assisting drivers and compiling claims forms and evidence for RTA.
- Checking use of fleet on routes is strategically optimised for deliveries.
- Managing third party suppliers and operators.
- Ensuring all health and safety aspects of fleet are met and drivers are compliant.
- Setting KPI's and embracing performance management, identifying and improving current processes in line with company expectations.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Full, clean UK Drivers licence for HGV Class 2.
- Transport Manager's CPC qualification.
- Commercial experience managing a multiple site-based, nationwide fleet of vans and lorries.
- Experience of DVSA regulatory requirements.
- Good knowledge of all Microsoft office products, especially Excel.
- Outstanding organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of people from drivers to suppliers.
- Good technical understanding of and an affinity for motor vehicles.
- A hands-on aptitude and approach to issues, able to accept and work to a flexible schedule.
