**Team/Specialism**:Health and Wellbeing Education Team Leader

**Pay Rate**: £27.36 per hour (assignment rate)

**Contract**:Locum, Ongoing

**Hours**: Full-time

**Main Duties**:

- Design, deliver and evaluate Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE), health promotion, prevention and outreach interventions as part of the brand new Children and Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Service.
- Supporting the delivery of a creative, diverse and innovative approach to improving health outcomes for children and young people aged 5 to 19 years in Hackney and the City of London by; developing resilience; enabling access to health services as appropriate; and strengthening the quality of health education in community and school settings that proactively reaches the target audience across the borough
- Provide expert advice, up-to-date information, education, signposting, support and interventions to all children and young people with particular focus on those who have enhanced vulnerabilities and are known to be at increased risk of poor health outcomes
- Work closely with partners including schools, health care providers, Children’s social Care, and Young Hackney to ensure that interventions are integrated and are delivered as part of a holistic, prevention-focused approach to improving health and wellbeing

**Requirements of the Social Worker**:

- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services
