Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant seeking immediate work? A manufacturing business in Blackpool is currently seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their team for a period of 3-4 months. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the finance team during the implementation of a new system and handling year-end tasks.

**Role Overview**:
As a Temporary Accounts Assistant, you'll be responsible for assisting with various finance tasks including purchase and sales ledger, credit control, reconciliations, and potentially supporting with audits and month-end duties.

**Duties include**:

- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Accurately processing invoices, expense claims, and payment transactions.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assisting with general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Providing administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Essential experience in transactional finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
