**Job Title - Women’s Academy Coach - U16 HC & U18 AC**

**Location - Cobham - Chelsea FC Training Ground.**

**Hours/Contract - Fixed Term - 12 Months, 40 hours any 6 of 7 - as and when required according to team schedule.**

**What We’re Looking For**:
Chelsea FC are looking for a Women’s Academy Coach (Under 16 HC & Under 18 AC) To be responsible for all technical & tactical aspects of players within this age group, as well as leading the delivery and design of all coaching sessions within the U16 age group, and assisting with the coaching of the U18 team as required.

**Brief description and duties**:

- To lead and deliver high quality training sessions, capable of supporting players developmental needs.
- To coach at training sessions in-line with the clubs playing philosophy and Women’s Academy Blueprint.
- To provide opposition analysis, to support the Head coach of the U18’s in the game strategy, and subsequent session planning.
- To lead a weekly meeting with the Head of Womens Academy and U18 Head coach, to present the team periodisation for the U16 squad.
- To determine and implement the relevant game strategy across the U16 age group, falling in line with the clubs playing philosophy and blueprint.
- To report weekly to the Head of Womens Academy, about all developmental needs on players within the U16 squad.
- To help develop players capable of playing for CFCW at WSL and UWCL.
- To provide performance and progress reports on players within the relevant age groups, for the Head of Chelsea FC Womens academy and wider team.
- To assist in the delivery and design of training sessions across the relevant age groups where appropriate and according to schedule.
- When leading, to provide direction to MDT staff on Roles and Responsibilities of each session, with the player development at the heart.
- To undertake a progressive and ongoing professional development process, attending and participating in in-house CPD sessions (when possible) and external sessions (if relevant).

**Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required**:

- UEFA B Licence (Essential)
- FA Advanced Youth Award
- FA Youth Award Modules
- FA Safeguarding Qualification
- FA First Aid Qualification

**Nice to Have**:

- UEFA A Licence (Desirable)
- MSc or other equivalent post-graduate qualification in either coaching or something similar (Desirable)
