Job Summary

River Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated and proactive Reception Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Reception Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of our business, including sales and procurement, and can serve as a stepping stone to a career in sales.

Key Responsibilities
- **Reception Duties**:

- Greet visitors and clients in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- **Web Search and Price Comparison**:

- Conduct web searches to compare prices of products and services.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on research findings.
- **Sales Support**:

- Assist the sales team with customer inquiries and order processing.
- Prepare and send quotations to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- **Additional Duties**:

- Support various departments with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
- Assist in organizing company events and meetings.

Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to conduct thorough web research and present findings clearly.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Interest in developing a career in sales is a plus.

Pay: £11.17-£11.88 per hour
