**Salary**: £20,000-£25,000

Position:
**You will be working within the support team, providing mostly 1st line levels of support to a very diverse customer base. This is a more junior position dealing with helpdesk function of logging tickets and resolving more basic problems, workshop tasksand preparing new PCs & laptops for rollout. The role is mostly office based, but some occasional customer site visits may be required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing primarily 1st line support and services to a wide range of clients, partaking in a busy helpdesk environment.
- Log all calls and updates in the helpdesk system.
- Take ownership of basic problems through to resolution or escalate when necessary.
- Provide a high level of customer service and personal organisation.
- Administration and troubleshooting of cloud-based services - including Microsoft 365.
- Administration of Active Directory, Exchange mailboxes and VoIP systems.
- Troubleshooting/diagnosing broadband faults and liaise with suppliers.
- Prepare new desktops and laptops ready for installation.
- Liaising with third party hardware and software vendors for support when required
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals
**Essential Requirements**:

- 1 year minimum IT support/helpdesk experience dealing with multiple clients and/or sites
- Good understanding and support experience of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Networking, Broadband and Firewalls.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
- Self-motivated and willing to adapt and learn new skills & technologies.
- Full driving license and own vehicle. Mileage allowance for business related trips in your own car will be reimbursed monthly.
**Preferable Requirements**:

- Experience of hardware from Dell, Draytek and Ubiquiti.
