The Governance and Quality Assurance team provides internal services, with a core focus on continuous improvement and learning to maintain compliance and offer assurance, direction and guidance to the broader teams and functions across Optalis Services.

The Governance and Quality Assurance Team covers the following areas:

- Data and Performance Management
- Data Protection o Governance and Quality Assurance
- Health and Safety
- Information Governance.

**Primary Purpose of Role**

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will help us continue to succeed in our levels of quality and compliance. The Information Governance Officer (IGO) will support the Information Governance (IG) agenda, ensuring the organisation continuesto comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018.

This post will ensure the business receives accurate reports supported with relevant action plans, including identifying relevant trends for regular business activity and high-impact business areas.
- Liaise with staff and management at all levels to ensure an accurate and timely response in line with the legislation
- Provide accurate and timely management information complying with the reporting framework to ensure that engagement continues to be consistently transparent
- Plan and prioritise own work activities, to ensure operational efficiency
- Respond effectively to changing demands, adjusting priorities as needed. Training and Development
- Ability to use a number of IT packages, e.g., Word, Excel,
- Driver, with a valid driver’s licence
- Good written and verbal communication
- Able to communicate confidently and clearly with different departments, managers and individuals
