About the role

We are delighted to share that we have an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Operator to join us in our logistics team at our Leven Processing site within the luxury products area.

You will be a key member within the logistics team responsible for the management of warehouse activities within the LPA including material delivery, material despatch, stock control, risk assessment, driving warehouse improvements, 5S and adhere to Health & Safety, Environmental & Quality Standards at all times.

Alongside your team, you will identify efficient and effective ways of working to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and the supply of product to the production lines on time to maximise uptime.

Involved in the material delivery and dispatch including the location and movement of stock, unloading, and loading of vehicles and required to drive a FLT. Ensure receipts are real time and in the system and highlighting any issues as appropriate. Confirm and check that the quality of materials are of an acceptable condition matching receipt and despatch requirements. Make sure that all receipts and despatches are LPA and CARM compliant and supporting and developing the warehouse SOPs for goods despatch.

You will take part in the warehouse stock control and have a clear understanding of CARM and its impact. Ensuring stock is located accurately and that the volumes are correct and aligned to the system. Completing required PSI checks on time and address any issues in a timely manner whilst ensuring CARM compliance.

As a senior operator you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse and must ensure all materials are appropriately packaged to ensure their integrity and fitness for use. Be a champion of 5S and report back on 5S inspection results to appropriate personnel. In addition, you will understand the risk assessment process and actively participate in warehouse risk assessment. Taking ownership for action to minimise warehouse risk to ensure a safe working environment.

Shifts

As a Logistic Operator, you will work a core shift which will consist of:
- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.45pm

About You

You'll be comfortable building strong relationships and removing barriers that stop their team from delivering.

Comfortable in a busy environment with a high level of energy to keep improving in a complex and fast paced environment.

You’ll have shown knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
