**The Job**

As an SEO Researcher, your day-to-day duties will involve:

- Your central task is thinking of tests and experiments relating to SEO and carrying them out. The aim is to identify new methods of growth and to help improve our existing network of websites and clients.
- You will be expected to conduct a set number of new experiments per month. This research will be logged and tracked, with results compiled into monthly reports.
- To help you conduct tests and experiments, you will have the support of our various SEO teams.
- You may also be required to conduct day-to-day tasks like:
○ Keyword research

○ Research and Development

○ Planning SEO campaigns and content

○ Analysing live pages and conducting optimisation tasks

○ Site audits. Technical support is in place to complete fixes

○ Identifying backlink opportunities

○ Providing training on SEO to colleagues

○ Supporting the Head of SEO in any tasks that arise

What we’re looking for in the successful applicant:

- **Knowledge of SEO**, **researching and using keywords, backlinking and experience in using SEO tools** is essential. Given the nature of the role, we seek someone who is truly passionate about SEO.
- **Experience in using WordPress** is also essential.
- We pride ourselves on our friendly, sociable and laid back atmosphere, so **good interpersonal and communication skills** are essential. We're a close-knit team that supports each other in every aspect of our jobs. We seek people who are willing to go above and beyond for their colleagues.
- **Attention to detail is a big part of this role**. You will be expected to update sometimes complex and technical articles which require a sharp editorial eye.
- **Organisation is also vital.** You will be responsible for your workload and will be assigned targets and deadlines to meet.

**The Benefits**

The salary is up to £35,000 plus bonus depending on experience. You'll be entitled to 28 days holiday per year, including bank holidays. This increases with each year of service.

We also offer flexitime and some working from home entitlements, though this role is predominantly office-based. You can expect free snacks and drinks, regular social events and a relaxed office environment.

Our office is located in Liverpool Innovation Park, which has great transport links, its own café, a gym and is just a few minutes' walk from the new Liverpool Shopping Park.
