Interim IT Programme Manager needed to join a leading automotive group in The Midlands. £575-£600pd outside IR35. You must have experience working within a manufacturing environment specifically with automation products.
- A minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience successfully performing in a similar IT Project management role(s), ideally within a manufacturing, factory automation, smart factory, or engineering environment
- A technically competent practitioner in all aspects of Project/Portfolio Management
- Has a background in complex bespoke, batch and repetitive manufacturing companies, ideally with technical products and processes that are comparable with battery cell manufacturing & recycling
- Has successfully delivered multiple industrial control system (preferably Siemens) projects covering Scada (WinCC OA), MOM/MES (Opcenter), shopfloor automation and Mindsphere/IoT related capabilities
- Has successfully delivered multiple PLM related projects (preferably Siemens Teamcenter) covering Requirements Management, Document Management, Product Data Management, Programme Management, Change and Release Management, APQP, FMEA and NX CAD suite
- Has a sound understanding of ERP systems ( we use IFS), their business capabilities and the critical dependencies (i.e., functional, process and data) with manufacturing/shopfloor systems
- Comfortable working within a growing, sometimes ambiguous, and rapidly evolving matrixed IT environment, where openness, integrity, transparency, and collaboration are inherent behavioural traits
- Can quickly grasp new concepts in a highly technical environment, and where necessary, dive into the detail with colleagues and/or vendors to resolve a problem(s) that are impacting project delivery
- A team-player, who is engaging, supportive and collaborative, demonstrating integrity in all facets of their work
- Proven experience of managing/working with multiple diverse stakeholders to deliver critical business solutions
- A highly disciplined individual with an unwavering attention to detail, including the documenting of decisions/actions and timely reporting and follow through on all aspects that are critical to the successfully delivery of a project
- Proven financial experience, with ability to plan, build and manage project budgets, as well as track and report on project costs in a timely and structured manner
