You'll be an important part of the Content PR team highlighting the value that a Sky subscription offers customers and bringing to life the incredible range of TV and film content on the service.

You'll be focused on increasing Sky's presence in digital and online outlets, boosting Sky's share of voice in "best TV" and "what to watch" editorial features and building our relationships with a more diverse range of media contacts, including digital platform editors and social media editors, with the ambition of improving our social media coverage via third party news outlets.

**What you'll do**:

- Identify and develop opportunities for digital-first activity for Sky's content that sits outside of traditional programme publicity campaigns, which can help to positively influence and shift perceptions of Sky.
- Build relationships with a core group of digital and social-focused press and influencers that support our efforts to increase coverage of the breadth and range of content on our service.
- Work with editorial and social colleagues to create press assets (inc written, imagery and video) that will increase our share of voice in features focused on the "best TV" and "what to watch".
- Track Sky's share of voice in editorial and use a data-led approach to constantly evolve the media we target and how we measure our work.
- Support on special projects across the department such as new service launches or rebrands and content showcase/season events and awards.
- Lead briefing and messaging documents for Sky's content.
- Ensure any PR activity is aligned with work of marketing, social media and corporate comms teams.

**What you'll bring**:

- Excellent personal and written communication skills, able to deal with senior business and external partners.
- Experience pitching to journalists, an instinct for what makes a story and the ability to build and maintain key relationships with a network of print, broadcast and online contacts.
- A flair for creativity - helping develop creative PR routes which promote Sky's content and services. Likely you will have 3 years of experience within PR or journalism; experience working in TV entertainment preferable but not essential.
- The ability to be resilient and flexible under pressure - and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work as part of a team and be comfortable juggling priorities from various stakeholders.
- The ability to act with autonomy, seeking solutions to problems and referring upwards for guidance or to gain agreement on a recommendation.
- Excellent attention to detail - delivering fully fact-checked documents and reports to a consistently high standard.
- A growth mentality, being able to evaluate, learn and evolve your approach to work - to deliver best practice and industry leading comms.
