The post holder will work under the direction of the CNS for Tissue Viability:
To support the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for Tissue Viability, in the management and delivery of a high quality holistic service for patients who require specialist tissue viability care.

The post holder will have sound knowledge and skills in prevention and management of pressure ulcers

He/ she will work collaboratively with colleagues in the tissue viability team and other colleagues across the Trust to facilitate high quality individualized care to patients

The post holder will support the CNS in monitoring standards of care by clinical audit throughout the Trust and assist in delivering the Tissue Viability teaching programme to all professional groups

He/she is expected to work with decreasing supervision during the secondment.

The post holder will be a member of the relevant clinical groups, e.g. Stop the Pressure meeting, and represent tissue viability nursing issues accordingly.
