We are looking for a passionate, motivated individual to join our team as an Opiate Case Worker. Working within Middlesbrough Council, our team helps those experiencing problems with substance use, domestic abuse, and homelessness.

Previous experience and/or knowledge of substance use services would be advantageous but is not essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided. Similarly, previous experience within this field is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for transferrable skills such as caseload management, care planning, risk management and previous experience of working with vulnerable clients. This job would be good for those who have previously worked in a support setting and we also welcome those with lived experience.

Due to the nature of the role a full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential, and you will need business insurance prior to commencing in post if you do not have this already.
