**Location: Remote Working**

**The Programme Management Officer will provide direct Programme and Project management support to the Senior Responsible Owner for designated capability change programmes. The PM Officer will act as the Portfolio, Programme & Project Management (P3M) Suitably Qualified & Experienced Person (SQEP) and focal point for designated Programme Delivery area and will work closely with the Change Portfolio Office.**

**As a Programme Management Officer, your main responsibilities will be**
- Lead in ensuring that the Senior Responsible Owner has effective processes in place for managing all aspects of Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Opportunities.
- Provide the functional lead on Benefits Management for the designated Change Programmes.
- Generate and develop Programme artefacts required for the successful delivery of the Change Programmes in accordance with the Army Operating Model and direction from the Change Portfolio Office.
- Maintain and update Project Online (POL) (where applicable) taking responsibility for data quality and assurance.
- Organise and support the running of RAIDO Workshops, Change Integration Working Groups (CIWG), Programmes Boards, Programme Development Reviews and any other ad hoc meetings and workshops required. This will include support with preparing slides, writing RoDs, sending meeting invites etc.
- Generate and develop learning from experience and continuous improvement documentation for the designated change programme. This includes attending various meetings to keep abreast of current processes, best practice etc
- Provide direct support to the Change Portfolio Office for Governance reporting as required.

**Essential Skills**
- Experience within PMO, Project Management functions
- Extensive stakeholder management
- Strong communication skills
- Strong self starter
- Prince2, MS Projects, P3M - formal relevant qualification
- Microsoft office, excel skillset
- BPSS clearance is a requirement for this role

**Desirable Skills**
- Previous MOD experience is highly desirable
