SourceCo Recruitment are currently recruiting for a **Forklift Field Service Engineer** position, relating to the service and maintenance of a comprehensive range of **Forklift Trucks, Handling, and Access Equipment**, with a depot near **Wakefield**.

**The opportunity to base yourself from home, receiving a competitive salary and benefits package for your basic hours, as well as earning Overtime for any additional (voluntary) hours for is on offer.**

- Salary:

**£32,000 pa, basic** (Paid from door-to-door)
- Holiday:

- **25 floating days** + banks (**33 total**)
- Hours:

**40 hours** per week, 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime:

- **x1.5**, or **x2** (Sundays & bank hols)
- On-call:

- Available evenings and weekends, **voluntary/by choice only**:

- Vehicle:

- **Ford Transit Van**& specialist tools provided by company
- Technical knowledge requirements: _

**Electrical**
- Be proficient in reading both electrical and IC truck wiring diagrams.
- Have the ability to diagnose electrical faults on both IC and battery trucks.
- Be proficient in using a multi meter.
- Be able or know how to use the following CAN units Curtis, Sevcon, Zapi.

**Hydraulic**
- Be proficient in reading a hydraulic schematic diagram.
- Be proficient in carrying out pressure tests and be capable of setting relief pressure on the following: - main pressure, secondary pressure, steering pressure.
- Be able to strip and reassemble a hydraulic valve bank, cylinder and gear pumps.

**Transmission**
- Be able to carry out a full pressure test both electronically (on certain models) and manually using pressure gauges and have the ability to diagnose problems.
- Be able to interpret the test information for main, forward /reverse clutch, torque converter pressure and carry out a full stall test.
