This is a great opportunity to join a small family run Pharmacy business of nearly 40 years. We have a great team within the Pharmacy and are now looking for a strong, positive and dynamic individual to join the team who can utilise their skills to help develop a growing pharmacy business. We have four pharmacies in the local area and you will be working in our main head office flagship branch.

Your responsibilities and primary role of the position is a customer facing, front-of house role where you will be working on the Medicines Counter, serving customers and providing healthcare advice/treatment recommendations to them.

Responsibilities will include:

- Helping support the team to ensure excellent customer service is maintained and rapport is built with patients
- Undertake relevant training to promote and encourage uptake of Pharmacy services. Provide and assist with the engagement of patients onto advanced services such as the New Medicines Service, Flu Vaccinations, blood pressure testing, smoking cessation clinics etc
- Providing medicines-related and healthy lifestyle advice to patients and to select and recommend suitable products, providing advice on their correct use
- Work with the team to ensure that the Pharmacy maintains its compliance and contract objectives e.g. date checking and Pharmacy Quality Scheme etc.
- To assist with stock control and the maintenance of reasonable stock levels within the retail environment and to ensure the safe and appropriate storage of medicines.
- To liaise with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care across primary and secondary care.

General Housekeeping:

- Ensure that the pharmacy always projects a professional image.
- Ensure that all areas within the pharmacy are clean, tidy and well organised with special attention to risk management guidelines.
- Ensure the floor is kept clean and free from hazards, e.g. boxes/totes.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and policies and complete any associated training.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.44-£11.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
