CPC is looking for a hardworking and reliable person to fill our Mobile Ground Maintenance Operative position based in the Plymouth Area. Duties include regular grounds maintenance and some communal cleaning.

**Salary: £22,310 per annum + Bonus**

**Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm**

**Job Type: Full time, Fixed term contract, Temp to Perm**

**Main Duties**
- Carry out regular and ad-hoc grounds maintenance across a wide portfolio of sites, both large and small, across the region. This type of work involves cutting grass, strimming, trimming hedges, weeding, planting, clearing leaves and debris etc.
- Some cleaning of internal communal areas within the region. This type of work includes hoovering, dusting, wiping handrails, window cleaning, cleaning carpets etc.
- Help assess maintenance issues and health and safety issues including reporting building defects, testing of fire and security alarms.

**Person Specification**:

- Have a keen interest in gardening, no trade qualifications are required but previous experience in a similar type of role would be highly advantageous.
- Cleaning experience preferrable.
- Demonstrate good decision-making skills and common sense.
- Take pride in consistently providing a high standard of customer service as you will be acting as a Community Property Care’ representative when on site.
- Experience of working to achieve agreed works are completed within agreed time frames.
- A team player who ensures that all our estates and communal areas are clean, tidy and in a safe condition.
- Live in or around the Plymouth area.
- Hold a current and full manual Driving License (preferrable)
