Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our team at our Plymouth site. As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy equipment.

The Role:

As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will be responsible for setting and checking the functioning of the rated capacity limiter and rated capacity indicator. You will work to manufacturer's instructions, adhere to road traffic regulations, and ensure PPE is worn at all appropriate times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment
  • Work with a team to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of manufacturer's instructions and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating mobile cranes
  • Knowledge of the effects of wind and other climatic conditions on the crane and load
  • Display safe working practices
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • HGV Class C Licence
  • In date Blue CPCS card with Mobile Crane Operator authorisation

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
