**Job Description**:
Pertemps Lincoln are looking for a QA Shift Operative to join our client’s team at their Farm Site on the outskirts of Lincoln. As a QA Shift Operative, you will be responsible for conducting a range of basic tests on raw materials and finished products, as well as investigating any issues highlighted by the results of these tests.

**_How much will I earn? _**
£11.00 per hour - £12.50 per hour (DOE)

**_When will I be working?_**
Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 then 14:00 - 22:00 then 22:00 - 06:00 (A 3-week rotation)

**_What will my responsibilities be? _**
- Conduct a range of basic, ‘dry’ tests on raw materials and finished products. Investigate any issues that are highlighted by the results of these tests.- Collect and prepare raw material and finished product samples for both internal and external testing. Record and distribute results as appropriate.- Raise non-conformances for out of specification products and issue corrective actions, as well as follow up on them.- Check delivery and production paperwork for compliance, report discrepancies, and seek corrections.- Respond to basic product inquiries and perform tests on samples as part of the complaint’s procedure.- Carry out routine quality, verification, and calibration checks on factory equipment. Recording of results and carrying out any necessary corrective actions.- Conduct area audits to cover; GMP, CCPs, procedure adherence, batch numbers, PPE, integrity, foreign bodies (this list is not exhaustive).- Check the correct in-line specifications are being used for the product being manufactured.- Continually monitor and implement good hygiene practice throughout the factory, ensuring any recurring failures are flagged up to the Production Shift Manager.- Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by your manager.**_What skills do I need to apply?_**
- Level 2 H&S awareness.- Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures.-
- Basic computer skills.- Auditing skills.- High level of literacy and numeracy skills, being able to complete and produce clear and coherent paperwork required for production and technical standards/traceability.- Ability to work to common goals/objectives with peers.- Ability to foresee changes in demands and act accordingly.- Effective communication skills with all departments/stakeholders on or off shift.- Ability to resolve matters quickly.- Ability to maintain positive and productive relationships with team members and other departments/stakeholders.**_How do I apply? _
