**Job Summary**:
**Main Duties**:

- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely completion of specifications, Quality Attribute (QAS) Sheets, and packaging specifications for new products or redesigns.
- Take ownership of the document creation process and production standards, establishing a repeatable and efficient workflow that delivers high-quality information promptly.
- Work closely with New Product Development, Operations, and Quality teams during process trials, meticulously recording essential data points for analysis and continuous improvement.
- Compile and organize documents and data sets using appropriate formats or IT systems, adhering to required standards and agreed-upon timelines.
- Assist in the artwork approval process by engaging with stakeholders and monitoring necessary tasks.
- Coordinate with site teams to gather accurate factory information, ensuring the inclusion of precise details related to raw materials, processes, technical specifications, and operations in documents.
- Manage product files on the network, ensuring the accuracy of information and effectively handling version changes.
- Conduct thorough reviews of existing specification formats and content, updating and aligning them with current industry standards and requirements.
- Provide flexible support to the technical department, assisting with tasks such as data processing for exports, product and raw material testing, and managing customer complaints.
- Perform any additional reasonable duties assigned by your manager to contribute to the smooth functioning of the technical department.

**Experience and Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Experience of working in product manufacturing.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of computer programs.
- Willingness to periodically travel between manufacturing sites. (c13 miles).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to analyse data, process information, and present findings effectively.
- Ability to manage oneself and demonstrate strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels throughout the business.

**Desire**:

- Experience in the manufacture and export of animal products or food.
- Knowledge and experience of using specification systems.
- Level 3 Food Safety and/or HACCP qualification.
