Key responsibilities
1.Work under supervision initially to build on trade related construction skills to carry out
repairs and maintenance in occupied Islington properties

2.Actively participate in your own development plan under the supervision of your line
manager and the training provider.

3.Achieve personal appraisal targets, as agreed by your line manager. Carry out duties and
responsibilities in accordance with the Council’s customer care standards.

4.To carry out Plumbing works and relevant trade duties as instructed by the Supervisor on
Responsive, Planned, Empty Homes, High Value Repairs or Capital Repairs to an excellent standard
upon completion.

5.To plan and organise workload to maximise productive time and ensure the best service to
customers. This includes dealing with urgent and emergency repairs and ensuring, as far as
practicable, that all appointments and targets are met

Criteria descriptionAssessed by
Multi-skills training to a minimum of NVQ3 or a
willingness to be trained when employed by
LBI

Some experience / understanding of the the
types of plumbing repairs carried out in
domestic properties

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: From £22.00 per hour
