Steps Ahead Care & Support, established in 2009 are rated **OUTSTANDING** by CQC and are specialists in acquired brain injury, spinal injuries, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We offer **bespoke** packages to clients in their own homes and our support team help build our ethos by promoting client’s **independence** and offering them **community-based** and or **rehabilitation** support.

We are looking to recruit **passionate & enthusiastic** support workers to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incredibly **rewarding and person centred.**

This role is based in **Bath **and surrounding areas and a variety of hours are available on a full time and part time basis. **FULL client specific training is provided to all of our support workers.**

**The client is a young adult who has sustained an acquired brain injury in recent years. She is very independent but lacks insight into her injury. She absolutely loves being glam and loves having her eyelashes, hair and nails done and looking after her appearance. She is looking for a rehab assistant that shares similar interests and would enjoy going to these appointments with her, as well as helping her to organise her appointments, manage her spending and help her prepare healthy meals. She is also keen to take up yoga and other forms of exercise so support around this would be necessary.**

**An interest or background in beauty would be advantageous for this role, as well as experience in care or rehabilitation.**

**This role is a part time role, with work available 3 days a week on a flexible basis.**

**Hours Available**:
**We have 25 hours a week available, most likely to be spread out over 3 shifts a week.**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Arranging & support to attend appointments
- Accessing the community

.Assisting with the clients programme of rehabilitation

**Requirements for the position**:
The chosen individuals will be enthusiastic, reliable and self - motivated. Six months health and social care experience is preferable, however, transferrable skills and personal experience will be considered.
